These terms cover what Talentack is, what you agree to when you publish a profile or send a hiring brief, and where our responsibility ends. They apply to every account, profile, portfolio item and message sent through the directory.
Talentack is a directory. We host structured profiles, portfolio strips and hiring briefs, and we make them searchable by skill cluster, seniority band and work setup. We are not a recruiter, an employer or an agent, and we do not negotiate, place or guarantee any engagement between a profile owner and a hiring party.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your role focus, tools, project history, availability windows and references. Keep them current. Do not list tools you have not used, claim outcomes you cannot describe, or name a referee who has not agreed to be contacted. Profiles that misrepresent work history may be removed without notice.
Hiring briefs must describe a real role, project or contract, with a workable scope and a genuine contact route. Bulk, duplicate or speculative briefs sent to profiles that clearly do not match the stated skill cluster may be filtered or blocked. Direct briefs are private between the sender and the profile owner.
No scraping profile data for resale, no automated bulk messaging, no impersonating another person or studio, and no content that is unlawful or harassing. Portfolio items must be your own work or work you have permission to show, including client material covered by an NDA.
We do not verify every claim in a profile or every term in a brief, and we are not a party to any agreement you reach. Hiring decisions, rates, deliverables, timelines and disputes sit with the people involved. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from a brief, a profile or an interrupted connection.
You may close your profile at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms. We will post any material change to these terms on this page and update the effective date.
